We engage in a variety of events throughout the year,
and activities include:

 

Book Talks

From late February to early December, discussions in English on German literature at the Goethe-Institut, 812 -7th St., N.W., Washington, D.C.


Dramatic Readings

Monthly reading and discussion of German dramas in German held at the Tyson-Pimmit Regional Library on Route 7 near the Beltway intersection and West Falls Church Metro stop. Social hour follows.


Lectures

In March and May, lectures on German art and philosophy at the Goethe-Institut in Washington DC. Social hour follows.


Poetry Luncheons

Lunch mit Lyrik held on last Saturdays at Washington area German/European restaurants to which participants may bring a poem in German to share.


Classical Oktoberfest

Classical Oktoberfest, an annual daylong celebration of the German arts, hosted by the Embassy of Germany, the Goethe-Institut and the AGS.
