    "Du, meine Seele,"  The Vocal Music of Robert Schumann
    by Stan Engebretson, Director of Choral Studies, George Mason University,
    with special guest artist, mezzo-soprano Patricia Miller, Director of Vocal Studies,
    George Mason University.

          Lunch (12:00 noon)  on your own

  • Film (2:00 - 3:30 p.m.)  
    Twin Spirits:  Sting performs Schumann  
    recorded live at the Royal Opera House, London, this hybrid theater piece and concert is an intensely moving performance of words, song and music, portraying the deep and ultimately tragic love between Robert and Clara Wieck Schumann.
