Drama Readings

A small group of members gathers once a month to read aloud and discuss a German Drama. Past drama group leaders have included Dr. Irmgard Wagner and Dr. Kerstin Gaddy. See Calendar of Events for the next drama. Please contact us for more information using the "Connect With Us" email option in the top right-hand corner of the page!

Lunch mit Lyrik

Lunches mit Lyrik are held regularly throughout the year at area Euro-style restaurants. Attendees are invited to read a short poem of their choice in German. This is optional. German and English are spoken. Members are encouraged to bring a guest to meet regular AGS members in an informal setting.

Except where indicated, all programs are in English.  Topics, dates, times and locations for all events are posted on the AGS website. Members receive e-mail reminders prior to each activity. Those without internet access are notified by US mail or telephone. All AGS events are designed to encourage attendees to socialize as well as profit from the program itself.

Note: A good way to determine if AGS is suitable for your needs is to attend a lecture or one of the Lunches mit Lyrik. Click this link: Calendar of Events for details.
